One Day Stained Glass Workshop
These workshops are suitable for all beginners; who want to learn stained glass leading in a friendly manner. Learn how to make a lead panel in the company of a small relaxed group and for some time-out in the homely, informal setting of Ruth Mullan's artist studio.

​What's included in the price:

From a very basic introduction to professional stained glass, techniques are covered within the workshop. The beginners will learn the essential stained glass skills: Including, glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing if time permits.
All equipment and a generous abundance of materials provided to use during the course.
You will be provided with a selection of pre-glass designs and pieces for you to select that consist of small pieces (about 7-9 pieces) to work from.
You will be able to finish your project within 6 hours during a one day workshop and will be able to take your panel with you.

Two Day Stained Glass Workshop
This two day workshop is suitable for all beginners and those who want to learn stained glass leading in a friendly manner. Learn how to lead stained glass panel /window, in the company of a small relaxed and homely, informal setting of Ruth Mullan's art studio. ​
This beginner two day workshop covers, introduction, design for stained glass, introduction to medium, materials, glass cutting, glass leading and cementing.

The panel size allowance is larger than the one day course. This two day course allowance is 35cm x 35cm and no bigger than A3 size (30cm x 42cm).
You will be able to finish your project within 13 hours total during the two day workshop and will be able to take your panel home with you. ​

One Day Copper Foil Workshop
This workshop is suitable for beginners and includes basic instruction on how to cut glass, use a diamond grinder, apply and burnish copper foil, assemble and solder the pieces together and add a hook to properly hang your completed piece.
You may bring your own design for a suncatcher however this will need to be approved in advance or you may choose from existing templates.​

Garden Stained Glass panel workshop
Make yourself a unique and fabulous garden panel using coloured glass. On the day you shall be guided through the basics on how to cut glass accurately, lead up, solder and set these colourful glass pieces into a zinc frame to make yourself a unique and colourful glassy panel.
There’s always plenty of glass colours and textures to choose from to fit any colour schemes.
Maximum of 3 people on classes ensures lots of help is at hand.​

Bespoke Workshop
*Bespoke course. If you are interested to go further on a particular aspect of the craft for example, glass painting or drawing or your own glass stained panel project, then a tailor made course can be provided to assist your own needs.
A full consultation will be required to confirm the aim and goals of your course requirements and for me to fully understand what you would like to gain from your bespoke course and current skill level you hold. This will include the course materials, glass, leading and teaching time required for you to finish your project.

Christmas Copper Foil Workshops
This is a really lovely morning of creating. I only hold half days towards Christmas. I am very generous with materials as always and happy for you to make as much as you can in the time. I always have a lot of patterns available.
My copper foiling morning is great fun. We make Angles, Christmas trees and small doves. I have plenty of ideas and drawings here to choose from and no experience is necessary. Everyone takes something home.
If you wanting a special half day towards Christmas, just drop me a request.
