You don't need to be particularly artistic or have any experience working with glass just come along ready to give it a go.

Both techniques involve bringing individual pieces of glass together, but they use different methods.Traditional leaded stained glass uses lead came to hold the glass pieces together, making it particularly suitable for panels and windows.Copper foil involves wrapping the edges of individual pieces of glass in copper foil before soldering them together. It is often used for smaller, more intricate decorative pieces, such as suncatchers.Both are lovely techniques to explore, and your choice will depend on the type of artwork you'd like to create.

Yes but if you are on a stained glass workshop you will have to clean your panel up at home as it needs drying time after cementing.

Please get in touch before booking to discuss any access requirements. The studio is in a garden setting, so I'll be happy to clarify the entrance, surfaces, seating and facilities to help you decide whether the workshop is suitable for you.

Stained glass involves a lot of standing, dexterity and strength, handling glass and using specialist tools, so it's important that everyone can take part safely.Please get in touch before booking if you have any health, mobility or other access considerations.
