I am a stained glass artist working mainly in the traditional method of stained glass using lead came. I love working with glass with its fantastic translucent qualities, it is for ever changing depending on the light.

Not only am I inspired by the natural environment around me I also work from photographs that I have taken of the local surroundings areas transforming them in to glass panels, many of which have been commissioned pieces. 

My style is quite graphic, maybe due to my graphic design background, and I use a lot of glass painting to enhance a piece which I then fire in my kiln. When working on a design or constructing a panel in my garden studio I become completely immersed in the process and often find hours have passed without realising.
